I have been on your trips in the past. My why? It’s the last of the wild frontier that is untamed and not forgiving for the unprepared. That’s what’s appealing to me. A chance to travel and see beautiful scenery from mountains to beaches with deserts, pastures and oases in between. Where the road ends, the fun begins. A chance to be self-reliant in an off-the-grid location, where pre-planning is key to a successful experience.
My first trip with Perfect Adventures included a combination of all these elements. It truly was a “perfect adventure” for me, being from the mid-Atlantic region of the USA. We headed off to the mountains to camp among the pine trees. The dirt road on the way there was the first indication this would be no ordinary camp trip. It was quiet, relaxing and a perfect start of what was to come. After a few days of decompressing from the rat-race of corporate life, we headed off the mountain to the middle of nowhere, to watch the Baja 500 race. I have never seen anything like this before in my life. There were motorcycles, dune buggies, UTV’s and trucks all on the same dirt trail that seem to come out of nowhere, fly past in second, then head off into the distance. Some even beep their horns at you in appreciation of their audience!
Next we headed off to the beaches. No boardwalk, no high-rise hotels, no expensive restaurants, just like-minded people, enjoying the undeveloped shoreline, whether you’re a surfer, angler or just a beachcomber, if this all sounds appealing to you, then I highly recommend going on one of these trips. It truly changed my life. I’m hooked!
