Bahia de Los Angeles is a gem located on the Gulf of California about 10 hours drive south of the USA/Mexico border. This adventure takes us down Mexico Hwy 5 along the gulf side of the Baja peninsula from Mexicali to Bahia de Los Angeles (aka Bay of L.A.). First night camping will be south of San Felipe. Second night we will be in Bahia de Los Angeles.

In Bahia de Los Angeles we will enjoy primitive camping on the playa with banos and shower nearby. Hopefully with palapas for shade. There are many adventurous things to do on this trip such as kayaking, SUP, fishing, hiking, see petroglyphs, see whale sharks, San Borja mission, museum, off roading on the SCORE Baja 1000 race course, star gazing and hanging on the beaches. Hire a panga and go fishing in the bay. Exploring the local area and devouring yummy fish tacos are favorites as well. Unlimited photography options.

Best time of year to go is May thru mid December. Summer months are super HOT but the fishing is great. It can be very windy off and on at this location so plan accordingly.
