On our first hot springs trip in Oregon we discovered an amazing place. While researching for a remote hot springs along the route, we found this. Miles away from the city life, Willow Creek Hot Springs features a single pool out in the middle of southeast Oregon’s high desert region. The fun 26 mile gravel/dirt road will get you most of the way there, then the last little bit is on soft dirt. Probably impassible during heavy rain. The Willow Creek Hot Springs is a high desert boondocking location. It’s fairly large and always a near-perfect 102 degrees. Check it out next time you cross north from Nevada into Oregon.
